Congratulations to National Sport Academy alumni athlete Sonia Farwaha who made the Mount Royal Cougars soccer team. Sonia is enrolled in nursing and will play striker for the Cougars.

The National Sport Academy would like to congratulate Kristen Funk on being named to the National Training Centre program for the winter of 2006/2007. Kristen continues to demonstrate tremendous leadership through our National Sport Academy training sessions and we all wish her the best of luck in all of her athletic and academic pursuits.

Congratulations to National Sport Academy athletes Jessica Leemans and Allison Warnick who helped lead their U-18 SWU Storm team to the U-18 1 Girls Provincial title and berth in the 2006 National competition. Our staff wishes both of you the best of luck in your National quest in October.

The National Sport Academy is pleased to announce Paul Schultz has accepted the position of full time National Sport Academy Soccer Head Coach. National Sport Academy student athletes and staff are excited to see more of Paul in the near future.
